In 1983, Andrew was accepted into the American Academy of the Dramatic Arts summer program but chose not to attend—a decision he later regretted.
Over more than 40 years, through a loving marriage, raising four wonderful children, owning two picket-fenced homes, a lengthy corporate career, two rehab experiences, and extensive study with esteemed acting coaches like Mike Lemon, Drucie McDaniel, Bryan Fox, and Kenneth John McGregor, Andrew discovered that the secret to acting mirrors the secret to life. As James Cagney put it, "Know your lines, show up on time, look them in the eye and tell the truth."
Since late 2013, Andrew has eagerly returned to pursuing his passion, participating in over 150 projects including television shows, short and feature films, music videos, commercials, and voice-over work.
He has also produced several films, often collaborating with his son, Jake Hunsicker, on titles such as The Arrangement, Nod, No Strings Attached, Post Hit Measures, and Just Like a Human.
