Lynnanne Zager is a highly respected voiceover actor, teacher, and casting director within the voiceover community.
With over 30 years of experience, Zager's voice has featured in more than 1,000 films and television shows, as well as commercials, promos, trailers, video games, and narrations. She was among the first women to serve as a live announcer for a game show.
She narrated all 14 seasons of Investigation Discovery's "Deadly Women" and voiced computer characters in five DreamWorks animated films, including "The Wild Robot," "Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken," "The Boss Baby," "The Boss Baby 2," and "Penguins of Madagascar." Her work also includes ABC's "LOST," "Extant," "Transcendence," "Men in Black 3," "Spy Kids: All the Time in the World," and "Star Trek: The Motion Picture."
Zager voiced George's Mom (Kevin Hart) in "Captain Underpants."
Recently, she has been heard on HBO Max's "Doom Patrol" promos, WWE's "Extreme Rules," "SpongeBob Movie: The Sponge on the Run," "Angry Birds 2," and announcements in "The Forever Purge."
She frequently performs voice matching for British grand dames such as Helen Mirren (notably in "Barbie" trailers and promos), Emma Thompson, Julie Andrews, and Maggie Smith.
One of her memorable roles was providing the GPS voice in "The Office," guiding Steve Carell and Rainn Wilson into the lake.
Zager has also dubbed numerous foreign-language characters into English for platforms like Netflix, Amazon, and HBO Max, including titles like "Undercover," "My Holo Love," "Ambulance," "The Twelve," and "David and the Elves."
She has mentored and taught voiceover acting across all genres to emerging actors, participating in the SAG Foundation's Don LaFontaine VO LAB and the EIF VO LAB in New York. She is passionate about passing on her knowledge to the next generation, following the example set by Don LaFontaine.
One of her favorite roles was announcing the opening line-ups and first inning for her hometown team, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
