Aris Maliagros was a distinguished Greek tenor and stage actor, celebrated for his elegant and refined portrayals of aristocratic characters. Known for his signature monocle, he launched his theatrical career in 1914 and gained prominence in both musical and dramatic performances. Educated at the Lotner Conservatory and the National Theatre School, he performed in classics like The Miser, Hamlet, King Lear, The Tempest, and The Taming of the Shrew, alongside operettas and modern Greek plays. His enduring collaboration with the National Theatre of Greece featured roles in The Acharnians, The Star of Seville, and The Pleasure of Honesty. In recognition of his artistic achievements, he received the Gold Cross of the Order of the Phoenix.
