Marmee Cabildo Cosico was born on November 10, 1969, around noon in San Pablo City, Laguna province, Philippines. She was raised by the late Atty. Regino S. Cosico and Marina C. Cosico in the small town of Alaminos, Laguna, Luzon. She completed her elementary and high school education at Canossa College in San Pablo City. Marmee earned a BS in Psychology from the University of Santo Tomas. During her senior year, she worked as production staff for Teatro Tomasino, the university's sole theater group. She continued her studies with an MA in Clinical Psychology at the same university and later pursued a Doctor of Medicine degree at Fatima University. While attending medical school, she worked as a court psychologist and Expert Court Witness in various Regional Trial Courts across the Philippines to support her education, focusing on writing psychological case reports for civil annulment cases.
Marmee Cosico is currently an Associate Member of the American Psychological Association, a member of the American Society of Pharmacy Practitioners, and a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the USA. She has resided in New York since September 2002. In late 2005, she began a career in acting. By mid-2009, she started performing foreign language voiceovers (Tagalog) for television commercials. On November 2, 2009, she became an online media writer for healthy living in New York City at examiner.com. In 2010, she authored three articles for the free daily paper Brooklyn Voice.
In February 2011, she was cast as the wife of an Asian dignitary, portrayed by Japanese actor James Saito (Life of Pi), in the HBO TV film "Too Big To Fail" (www.imdb.com/title/tt1742683/?ref_=nv_sr_1), which aired on HBO in June 2012. In July 2012, she joined examiner.com as an online health writer in Los Angeles, California. On February 16, 2013, she enrolled in an online ProSeries 44 screenwriting course at screenwritingu.com, becoming an Alumni Member in November 2013. In October 2013, she was listed among producers alongside international filmmakers at limesfilms.com/#team, where they began filming a documentary in Vatican City.
Currently residing in Woodside, New York, Marmee is studying prerequisite courses for a second bachelor's degree in Nursing. Her primary school is Hunter College, though she is taking a science course at Queensborough Community College.
