Andrew Markell is a writer and actor based in Los Angeles. In 1997, he auditioned for the late casting director Cathy Henderson and casting director Dori Zuckerman, securing his first supporting role as "Kangol" in the MGM film City Of Industry, starring Harvey Keitel and Stephen Dorff. In 1999, he connected with Director Albert Pyun and rapper/actor Ice T., leading to his role as writer on two of their films, Urban Menace and Wrecking Crew, for Imperial Entertainment. In 2015, he acted in, wrote, and co-directed Shadowhopp for YouTube. Recently, he wrote the screenplay "Covering Hollywood," based on a story by Reyna Clare, for MPact Pictures, which is currently in development.
