Viviane Mendonça is a lawyer and executive producer of events and audiovisual content for film and television. Works in the fund-raising area for audiovisual and social projects. As an executive producer, she worked in partnership with large and small production companies (Bananeira Films, Filmland International, Fagulha Films, Miriade Films, Clariô Films, RT Features, among others). She began her career as executive producer for Mariana Kaufmman and Juliana Serfaty's short films "Lighthouse Island"; and "Green Violet" by Rafaela Arrigoni (Tiradentes Festival / 2016 and Short Film Corner / Cannes Festival 2016 and licensed to Canal Brasil) both from Fagulha Filmes / RJ; works with projects related to public formation and cultural diffusion, in 2014 she produced the exhibition "Jia Zhangke - The City in Frame" which showed 12 feature films and 6 short films. Worked in the project "Please Kill Me" by Anita Rocha da Silveira, produced by Bananeira Films, in the "Fabrique de Cinema du Monde" program during the 2012 Cannes Festival. Worked as executive producer in the development of the film "Los Silencios ", by Beatriz Seigner, aired in 2018 at the Cannes Festival Director's Fortnight. In 2016 she composed the executive production team of the feature films produced by FilmLand "The Dream Vendor" by Jayme Monjardim and "Divorce" directed by Pedro Amorim. In 2017, she participated in the production of Denise Saraceni's feature film "Pixinguinha, a loving man". Also in 2017, she signed as an executive producer for the musical documentary series "The Uneven's", by director Isis Melo and Henrique Alqualo, shown in 2018 on Canal Curta. In partnership with Camilo Cavalcanti and Clariô Filmes, she signs the executive production of director Carlos Alberto Junior's "Searching for Anselmo" documentary series, co-produced with HBO, scheduled for release in 2019 and also signs the executive production of the film " The Invisible Life of Euridice Gusmão ", directed by Karim Ainouz, produced by RT Features which was the big winner of the Un Certain Regard Exhibition of the Cannes Film Festival 2019. In that same year, she partnered up with Prodigo Filmes to ignite content projects within the company, making connections with content areas in companies and also working with government-fund initiatives. Earlier in 2021, she developed and signed the production of feature film "Vovó Ninja", directed by Bruno Barreto. In addition to her own projects - For over 10 years, Viviane is superintendent of the Book and Reading Foundation and for 11 years she has been coordinating the International Book Fair in Ribeirão Preto, one of the largest open-air fairs in Brazil - she started a partnership with Camilo Cavalcante. Within O_Par, they develop projects and work in partnership with producers, including major advertising production company Saigon Films.
