Born in Paternò on October 22, 1971, he is an Italian actor, producer, stage director, and storyteller. He received a Ciak d'Oro Award. His notable works include films such as Buongiorno, notte, Si può fare, Noi Credevamo, and Il racconto dei racconti - Tale of tales; television series like Rome, Rex, and L'ispettore Coliandro; numerous short films; and stage performances including Serata a Colono and Othello.
Steeped in the Sicilian storytelling tradition, he began his acting career in 1996 at the Theatrical Research Center 'Molo 2' in Catania, directed by Gioacchino Palumbo. He then trained at the International Cinema and Stage School of Ischia under director Mario Martone, who significantly influenced his stage career, beginning with Edipus in Colono (2004) and Evening in Colono (2012). Martone later brought him to the Stable Theatre of Torino for Death of Danton. He founded the Storytelling Research Center 'Casa-Teatro' in Paternò after establishing the acting company Baternù. Additionally, he translated Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince into Sicilian.
In 2007, the Manetti Bros. cast him opposite Francesco Arca as a villain in the seventh season of the TV series Rex, appearing in three episodes and later returning for the eighth season. In 2011, he starred in the miniseries I cerchi dell'acqua by Umberto Marino, alongside Alessio Boni and Vanessa Incontrada.
Together with director Alessandra Pescetta, he founded 'Casa dei santi,' a production company through which he acted in and produced The Nightless City, a film selected for the Taormina Film Fest in 2015.
