Aaloka born Nazneen is an Indian actress who appeared in Hindi cinema and television during the 1980s and 1990s. She made her feature film acting debut in the action drama Raja Aur Rana in 1984. She followed this with roles in notable mid 1980s horror and thriller films, playing lead and supporting characters in Haveli in 1985, Dak Bangla in 1987, and Rest House. After an extended hiatus from the screen to focus on her family life, she made a brief return to television in 1999, appearing in the critically acclaimed anthology television series Star Bestsellers. Coming from a family with deep roots in Indian cinema, she is the niece of the iconic yesteryear Bollywood star Mumtaz. Family and Personal Life She has been married to veteran Bollywood actor and director Ranjeet Gopal Bedi since April 30 1986 and is widely known publicly as Aloka Bedi.
