Christina Adams has written, produced, and served as music supervisor on numerous television, film, and stage projects. She has collaborated with various studios and production companies, including Disney/ABC, Warner Bros., Universal, CBS, NBC, and OWN. Her television specials include CBS Presents: Oprah with Meghan and Harry; OWN Spotlight: Where Do We Go From Here?; Oprah At Home with Lupita Nyong'o and Cynthia Erivo; Oprah Winfrey Presents When They See Us Now; Oprah's Super Soul Conversations from Times Square; Oprah's Master Class: Belief Special; Oprah's Master Class: Civil Rights Special; First Lady Michelle Obama: An Oprah Winfrey Special; HBO's Oprah Winfrey Presents: After Neverland; Oprah Winfrey Presents: Becoming Michelle Obama; and Oprah Goes To Broadway: The Color Purple. Her television series credits include multiple episodes of Oprah's Book Club, The Oprah Conversations, Oprah's Master Class, Super Soul Sunday, Oprah: Where Are They Now?, The Queen Latifah Show, Ellen's Game of Games, Mental Samurai, Planet Primetime, Tough as Nails, and The Amazing Race.
Christina designed and produced the stage production Primal Twang: The Legacy of the Guitar, which featured an all-star ensemble of renowned guitarists, including Grammy Award winners Eric Johnson, Albert Lee, and Doc Watson. She also produced the film adaptation of Primal Twang, created from the live performances; it aired nationally on PBS and won Best Documentary Feature at the Rome International Film Festival. Additionally, she co-wrote and produced the world premiere stage production Love-In: A Musical Celebration, starring Broadway legend Ben Vereen, along with the Love-In music documentary, which aired nationally on PBS.
Recently, Christina produced the world premiere cast recording of Sideways The Musical, based on the classic novel Sideways, which inspired the Oscar-winning film. The recording will be released by Broadway Records and Lakeshore Records on August 18, 2023. Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Kathleen Marshall is attached to direct and choreograph the stage production.
