Cara Hain Wakelin, a stunning blonde beauty, was born on February 8, 1977, in Melbourne, Australia. After her parents divorced when she was very young, she was raised by her mother in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has a fraternal twin brother named Bain. Growing up in poverty, her family moved fifteen times in ten years and even lived out of a van at one point. Cara attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts, focusing on dance and visual arts, and later earned a degree in philosophy and sociology from McMaster University.
In 1998, Wakelin auditioned for "Playboy" and became the Playmate of the Month in the November 1999 issue, also appearing on the cover of the Canadian edition that same month. She posed for several "Playboy" special editions, featured in a few "Playboy" videos, participated in the magazine's 50th Anniversary Tour, and appeared on the cover of "Playboy"'s first swimsuit calendar in 2005.
Cara was an international spokesmodel for Miller Beer in 2001 and featured in a Budweiser campaign in 2002. She has appeared in TV commercials for Sears, Ford, and Coca-Cola. Wakelin made guest appearances on TV shows including "Howard Stern," "Entourage," and "Relic Hunter," and had supporting roles in the films "Death to Smoochy" and "Smoked." She splits her time living between Los Angeles, California, and Toronto, Canada.
