Skip Brittenham is a founding partner of Ziffren Brittenham LLP.
He represents leading actors, directors, producers, writers, and personalities. Most of his work now centers on transactional law, with the total value of his deals—including media company acquisitions and sales, film slate financing, and other media projects—averaging over $1 billion annually for the past ten years. His clients include independent studios, major studio executives, animation firms, motion picture production companies, and entertainment conglomerates. He has also overseen numerous successful public offerings of media companies.
His groundbreaking deal-making has consistently redefined traditional approaches to distribution agreements, talent contracts, cross-platform deals, emerging digital media agreements, celebrity endorsements, and more. Additionally, he is involved in venture capital investments.
He is married to actress and screenwriter Heather Thomas and has three daughters: Kristina Lynn, Shauna Leigh, and India Rose.

Mr. Brittenham has served on the boards of several corporations, including Pixar, Lowes Cineplex, and DreamWorks Animation.
In 2007, he received the Spirit of Liberty Award from People for the American Way. In 2011, The Alliance for Children's Rights honored him and his wife with the National Champions Award. He currently sits on the boards of various charitable organizations, including Conservation International ("C.I."), a leading global environmental organization, which awarded him the Heroes of Conservation Award. As Co-head of C.I.'s Development Committee, he helped raise over $1.5 billion in the past decade.
Skip was a member of the U.S. Fly Fishing Team and competed in the World Championships three times.
