Jill Adler, originally from Encino, California, has been making her mark in the entertainment industry one role at a time. Beyond acting, she is a skilled skier, rock climber, and cowgirl with a deep passion for the outdoors.
When not on set, Jill can be found conquering ski slopes professionally, exploring new hiking trails, or traveling across the West in her mini camper van. Despite her tough exterior and ability to portray detectives, lawyers, doctors, and nosy neighbors, she also gravitates toward broken, vulnerable characters who find strength and triumph. Jill holds a master’s degree in broadcast from USC and a law degree from the University of Utah, which she has leveraged into a secondary career as an anchor and reporter for KSL Newsradio in Salt Lake City. She also runs a popular YouTube channel and blog called Ski Play Live, where she documents her outdoor adventures.
Jill has appeared in well-known Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas films such as 12 Gifts of Christmas and Hot Chocolate Holiday, keeping her busy in Utah. She has also appeared on the TV show Yellowstone as a newscaster and portrayed Rachel Skarsden’s mother in Timeless Love.
Throughout her journey, Jill stays grounded, using her outdoor experiences to enrich her performances and bring authenticity to her roles. With sharp wit, a willingness to take direction, and strong memorization skills, she is quickly becoming a notable presence in the industry.
Whether shredding the slopes or bringing characters to life on screen, Jill is always ready for her next adventure.
