Michael is an independent filmmaker, editor, motion graphics artist, and web designer in Washington, DC. A German native, Michael started his career in the U.S. as a Program Coordinator for a non-profit German political foundation, where he has also taken on the responsibility of integrating multimedia via photography, video, and graphic design. Michael is a graduate of the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. He has filmed, edited, produced, and/or worked on a number of narrative and documentary films, music videos, non-profit ads, as well as motion graphic shorts. Michael is the author of a book on religious and family values in American society as portrayed in pop culture icons 'The Simpsons', which has been published by Tectum, Marburg and is currently in its 2nd edition. Michael has also received a M.A. in American Studies and Political Science from Leipzig University, Germany.
