Steve Olson is an actor and improviser. His upcoming projects include a recurring role in The Shards, the FX series created by Ryan Murphy and based on Bret Easton Ellis’s memoir, as well as Apple TV+’s Lucky, starring alongside Annette Bening and Anya Taylor-Joy.
His television credits feature appearances on Hacks (Max), NCIS (CBS), The Goldbergs (ABC), New Girl (FOX), Dave (FXX), For All Mankind (Apple TV+), General Hospital (ABC), Bookie (Max), The Company You Keep (ABC), and Lazarus (Apple TV+). In film, he has appeared in Father Stu (Sony Pictures) opposite Mark Wahlberg; Fishbowl California, alongside Kate Flannery; and Single, which premiered at SXSW.
Olson trained with Lesly Kahn, Margie Haber, Annie Grindlay, Scott Sedita, Andrew Wood, Jamie Renee Smith, and Stan Kirsch, and studied improvisation at The Groundlings and Acme Comedy Theater. A longtime musician, he has played piano and drums since his teenage years.
