Alex Lorre (born 24 October 1975) is an actor and stunt performer. He gained international attention for his role as a sleeper who gave birth to a baby alien in the 1997 Sigourney Weaver action film "Alien Resurrection." Earlier, he portrayed a kitchen worker and love life advisor to Brad Garrett in the drama "A Delicatessen Story." Lorre later became well-known in Hollywood crime and action films, frequently playing roles such as insurgents, commanders, pirates, character players, and hijackers. His distinctive accent and voice made him a favorite among directors and producers for video games, commercials, character roles, and voice-over projects, notably in several "Call of Duty" video games and film projects. Thanks to his physical appearance and gymnastic skills, he also gained recognition from stunt coordinators.
In 2003, Lorre became an elite member of the scuba diving community, achieving the status of specialty instructor for advanced diving techniques like enriched mixed-air and deep dives. He won the junior California state powerlifting championship in Venice Beach in 1992. At World's Gym in Venice, he became close friends with Joe Gold and his circle, mingling with movie and TV stars such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dylan McDermott, William Smith, Steve Strong, and Jesse Ventura.
Alex is passionate about acting and producing films and TV shows, continually striving to master the technical and visual effects aspects of filmmaking. In November 2010, he earned his Twin Engine IFR FAA pilot license in Santa Monica, California, aiming to apply his skills as a stunt pilot in movies. His most recent press interview took place at a red carpet charity event in Hollywood in June 2012.
