Michael Kelber, the youngest of five siblings, was born in Lakewood, New Jersey, but grew up in Bricktown. His parents divorced when he was two, and he was raised by his mother, Patricia A. Kelber. After high school, Michael briefly attended college before enlisting in the United States Navy. It was during his time in the Navy that he realized his true passion was acting. The 1988 film "Permanent Record" inspired him to change his career path and gave him clear direction. After leaving the military in 1991, he spent several months living in Germany before returning to college in New Jersey. In 1995, he moved to New York City to pursue acting, studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and H.B. Studio. He performed in various off-Broadway productions, independent films, and television shows. While in New York, he met his wife, Patricia Lara, and subsequently relocated to Los Angeles. Since moving to Los Angeles, Michael has worked both as an actor and director. In 2006, he wrote, produced, and directed his first feature film, "Bricktown," and also created, produced, acted in, and directed a sitcom pilot called HOA (Home Owner's Association). He continues to pursue his dreams with the support of his devoted wife.
