Freskkvartetten was a Swedish string quartet active during the years 1965 - 1994. The quartet was employed by Rikskonserter 1967 - 1973 and toured extensively, especially in Europe and North America. They produced 14 albums including works by Hilding Rosenberg, Bela Bartók, Wilhelm Stenhammar, Dmitri Shostakovich among others. The members were Lars Fresk (violin), Hans-Erik Westberg (violin), Lars-Gunnar Bodin (viola) and Per-Göran Skytt (cello). The Fresk Quartet participated in several documentaries and Television productions.
