Magda Tsegou is a Greek journalist and television presenter with a long career in news broadcasting and media production. Raised in Preveza, she studied journalism in Athens and went on to become a member of ESIEA, establishing herself within the Greek media landscape through consistent work in reporting and presentation. She began her professional career in 1995 as a reporter on Zougla (1996) alongside Makis Triantafyllopoulos and soon continued at ERT with 'Oso yparhoun anthropoi', undertaking journalistic assignments across Greece. Her presence in morning television strengthened with Logia STARata (2001) on STAR, followed by a key role at ALTER, where she served as co-presenter and guest coordinator on Kathares kouventes (2003) and later contributed to news programming and field reporting. She continued at ALTER as editor-in-chief and co-presenter on Kalimera (2009), maintaining the position until the station ceased operations. From 2011 to 2017, she worked with SKAI as editor-in-chief and co-presenter on Kalimera SKAI (2012), also presenting weekend summer broadcasts, while simultaneously developing her digital presence through her news platform magdasnews.gr. Alongside her television work, she has conducted high-profile interviews, worked in press and public relations, and contributed to radio programming, including '120' me tin Magda'. Her experience extends to teaching journalism, moderating cultural and public events, and participating in initiatives that promote social awareness, reflecting a multifaceted career that combines media, communication, and public engagement.
