Joe Randazzo is an independent screenwriter and producer whose screenplays have earned more than 20 awards since 2006. His most acclaimed script, "Ripper," won or placed in the Best Screenplay category at over a dozen film festivals. He co-wrote two comedy shorts with Dave Campfield: "Caesar & Otto Meet Dracula's Lawyer," featuring horror icons Lloyd Kaufman and Debbie Rochon, and "The Perfect Candidate," starring Joe Estevez, Robert Z'Dar, and Maria Olsen. Randazzo also produced and co-wrote "Caesar and Otto's Deadly XMas," a parody of the 1980s "Santa Slasher" subgenre, featuring CKY frontman Deron Miller, Lloyd Kaufman, and Linnea Quigley, among other horror legends. "Deadly XMas" received critical acclaim and success on the festival circuit, earning several screenwriting awards and multiple Best Feature nominations. It was highly praised by Ain't It Cool News, HorrorHound magazine, MJ Simpson, and others, garnering excellent reviews ahead of its DVD, VOD, and OnDemand Pay-Per-View release in November 2013. Randazzo went on to adapt Julie C. Morse's novel "Out of the Box," a nominee at the 2014 Beverly Hills Film Festival and second-place screenplay winner at The Indie Gathering. He also wrote "Threshold," which was nominated at the 2017 Beverly Hills Film Festival and won Best Screenplay at the 2016 Eerie Horror Film Festival. Currently, he is nearing completion on four slasher movie screenplays with his "Perfect Candidate" co-writer, Sean Steffen.
