Erlend Broholm was born and raised on the island of Hitra in Trøndelag, Norway, surrounded by coastal culture and local storytelling traditions. At the age of eight he stepped onto the stage in the historical play Maren - dømt til døden (Maren - Sentenced to Death), sparking a lifelong passion for theatre and the power of performance to convey both history and human experience.
He later moved to the United Kingdom, earning a First Degree Honours Bachelor in Acting from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. His education provided a strong foundation not only in acting, but also in directing and playwriting.
As a professional actor, he has appeared in regional productions such as "Maren - dømt til døden" (2022, 2025), "Oda fra Havet" (2018), "Snøkvit" (2022), and "Hitra-eventyret" (2024). He has done dubbing and voiceover work for Norwegian studios, including "Kosmoo" and "Halen i Klem".
