Igor Gajič is a Slovenian director and editor with over 20 years of experience in television. He trained in Film and TV Directing at AGRFT in Ljubljana before building a career spanning both directing and editing across scripted comedy and episodic television.
Gajič co-directed and wrote for "As Ti Tud Not Padu!?" (2007), a weekly primetime sketch comedy series on POP TV that ran for five seasons and was named Slovenia's best TV show for three consecutive years. He later directed "Ja, Chef!" (2021-2026), a comedy series that became one of the most-watched Slovenian productions on the Voyo streaming platform, running twelve seasons and 120 episodes before concluding this year with nearly 50 million total views.
As an editor, Gajič has cut episodes across numerous Slovenian television series and shows, bringing the same storytelling instinct from his directing work into the edit suite.
On the executive side, Gajič served as Programming Director at TV3 Slovenia (VIASAT) and Planet TV, and as Executive Producer at Planet TV, where he oversaw the local adaptation of international television formats including "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," "The Biggest Loser," and "My Man Can."
