Peter Murphy Lewis is a filmmaker, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and former international television host whose storytelling career spans 20 years and ten countries. He is the creator of People Worth Caring About, a docuseries rooted in long-term care communities across the U.S., with the Nebraska edition marking the origin of the project. Before entering healthcare, Peter founded and sold three travel companies in Chile, taught journalism, and hosted Spanish-language TV programs. His work has been featured in The New York Times and broadcast across major networks in English and Spanish. He also hosts the podcast LTC Heroes, where he interviews innovators in senior care. Peter's filmmaking blends immersive fieldwork with cultural storytelling, driven by a mission to reveal the dignity inside "invisible work." Nebraska was his first hands-on filming experience as a CNA - and where the movement began.
