Shawn Andrews captivated audiences as the charismatic "Leo" in the award-winning film "Fix," a drug-fueled descent opposite Olivia Wilde. Premiering in Park City, the film quickly attracted attention from major media outlets such as Entertainment Weekly and CNN. Andrews earned Best Actor Awards on the film festival circuit before the movie reached global audiences across all platforms later that year. He followed this success with the critically acclaimed "Big Heart City," starring alongside Oscar nominee Seymour Cassel. His nuanced portrayal of "Frank Polowski" received praise from legendary actor Dennis Hopper, who compared Andrews' performance to the artistry of James Dean in his classic roles. Andrews made his feature film debut as the effortlessly cool "Kevin Pickford" in Richard Linklater's indie cult classic "Dazed and Confused."
Committed to provocative, character-driven work, Andrews’ soulful approach has led to roles in festival favorites such as "The Small Hours," opposite Djimon Hounsou, Christopher Meloni, and Ron Livingston, as well as Matt Dillon's "City of Ghosts."
He trained under Arthur Penn at The Actors Studio in New York.
Beyond acting, Shawn has been deeply involved in music for years, leading several bands and collaborating with top West Coast studio musicians.
