In 2023, he directed the mini-series "Akathit", further cementing his reputation for crafting gripping and thought-provoking stories. Kabir's short film "Return Ticket" has been awarded and nominated at ten different film festivals, earning critical acclaim. He also served as Associate Director on the feature film "Dhai Aakhar," which premiered in the Indian Panorama Section at IFFI Goa 2023, received a nomination for Best Debut Feature, and won the Special Jury Award at the Cambodia International Film Festival.
A Master's graduate in Mass Communication from Anwar Jamal Kidwai Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia, Kabir blends sharp editing techniques with nuanced storytelling to enhance his cinematic vision. Throughout his career, he has worked with renowned filmmakers such as Natasha Raheja, Vijay Ganguly, Amritanshu, Ajay Shetty, and Oindrilla Hazra.
