Kevin Hussey, also known as Caoimhghín Ó hEodhasa, is a talented upcoming Irish actor. Noted for their captivating presence on both stage and screen, Kevin's performances often incorporate their strong sense of physicality and emotional depth. Even at this stage of their career, Kevin has a wealth of experience, ranging from short films ("Normáilte" and DUAE), leading a mockumentary web-series (An Poitín), playing a priest in a soap opera (Ros na Rún), street performance (Gaeltacht na Todhchaí), doing a one-man show (Ar An Dé Deiridh), working with people with intellectual disabilities (Gulliver's Travels 2016), to performing classics (Antigone) and newly written plays (Wáltsáil Abhaile) alike. Ranging from the intensely personal "Normáilte", which explored 50 years of the Irish LGBTQ+ movement by mapping it against the experience of growing up queer, to the goofy and playful "An Poitín" - the first mockumentary to be shown on TG4, Ireland's national Irish-language broadcaster - Kevin's variety and versatility cannot be understated. With a background of working on TV and Film sets, Kevin has an intimate understanding of the industry and how set life works. Kevin has been a script supervisor on short films (Dawn and Scríofa sna Réaltaí) and a nationally broadcast soap opera (Ros na Rún), and has worked as an Irish-language consultant on the murder mystery "Báite" and even for Conan O'Brien (Conan O'Brien Must Go)! Kevin also creates Irish-language short form entertainment and educational videos on their TikTok and Instagram pages.
