Nika McCarthy is the rising silver screen siren who is set on leaving her mark on the film industry. Born to Lasonta McCarthy (of South American heritage) and Stephen McCarthy (from UK) on the beautiful island of Barbados, WI. Her family moved to New York City when she was very young. She has two younger siblings, Sukiyaki McCarthy (sister) and Stash McCarthy (brother) both born in the USA.
In 1992, the family moved back to the Caribbean (Barbados), where Nika explored her eclectic mix and applied it to her music, dance and creative writing. She was youth director of her high school's drama club, winning many awards at the National Independence Festival of Creative Arts.
She studied psychology in college but would soon switch her major to Theatre Arts and Performance Analysis. After school, she went on to start a company in entertainment consultancy (Trident Entertainment Worldwide) offering an international outlook to island performers.
Nika now resides in London, UK where she is pursuing a full time acting career.
