Kevin Nielsen is the founder of Elevate Movie Studios Co. and producer of Something, a grounded horror-drama in pre-production with a May 2026 shoot date.
A performer since age 4 with roots in theater, He performed with an improv troupe in Phoenix from 2019-2020 before relocating to Atlanta to build his career in the Southeast's growing film industry.
Over the past four years, Kevin has executive produced multiple short films across Atlanta, including one post-apocalyptic drama where he was nominated for Best Actor at the 2024 Atlanta 48-Hour Film Festival. His on-camera work also includes a statewide Mark Spain Real Estate commercial (Multiple years running) and roles in other indie productions throughout the Atlanta market.
When not producing or on set, Kevin runs Popcorn and Play, a YouTube channel analyzing video games through a filmmaker's lens. He's an advocate for filmmaker-friendly distribution and consumer-first digital licensing, aiming to bring positive change to the industry he loves.
