David Petrović is a multidisciplinary artist working across theatre, film, and animation, with a strong foundation in performance and visual storytelling. A leading actor at the Rijeka City Puppet Theatre since 2006, he refined his craft through international training in Charleville-Mézières, France. As a filmmaker, he wrote, directed, and produced the feature film Yunaci Rocka (Rock heroes) (2022), which premiered at the Pula Film Festival and continued its international festival run. His earlier short film The Clown received awards for both audience choice and cinematography, while his ventures into stop-motion music video have also been recognized. Petrović’s theatre work includes numerous original productions for children and adults, marked by a playful yet distinctive visual language. Recipient of over 20 professional awards, his work consistently blends performance, movement, and narrative into a unique authorial expression across mediums.
