Jeffrey A. Okun has contributed visual effects and second unit direction to a diverse array of films, including the award-winning sci-fi blockbuster _Stargate_ (1994), _Deep Blue Sea_ (1999), _The Last Starfighter_ (1984), _Lolita_ (1997), _Cutthroat Island_ (1995), _Sphere_ (1998), and Wes Craven's _Shocker_ (1989).
His portfolio also features music videos for a wide range of artists such as Sting, The Beatles (for the _A Hard Day's Night_ re-release), Jimi Hendrix, Janet Jackson, Wayne Newton, Bryan Adams, Amy Grant, Dolly Parton, Prince, Michael Jackson, the Neville Brothers, and Rod Stewart, where he crafted numerous impressive camera and optical effects.
Okun is recognized for creating 'organic' and invisible effects, as well as spectacular visuals that seamlessly broaden both the aesthetic and scope of a film while enhancing its storytelling.
