Madison Graie, star and co-producer of Zacharia Farted (1998), hails from Vancouver, Canada, and graduated with honors from the University of Victoria. In 1996, she established her own film and video production company, Windowshot Productions Inc. Beginning with short films, industrial programming, and music videos, she soon ventured into feature filmmaking.
Her first feature, Zacharia Farted (1998), was produced under the Windowshot banner. The film earned four audience favorite awards and eight Leo nominations, including best picture. Madison took on multiple roles in the project, including co-producer, casting director, production coordinator, actress, and even sandwich maker. Often called one of the queens of indie film for her consistent involvement in the independent scene, she always has several projects underway.
Besides working behind the camera, she also performs in front of it. After graduating with honors from the University of Victoria, she secured roles in episodic and feature productions such as The Commish, Hope & Gilbert, The Christmas List, and various independent films and stage plays.
