Prakash Devkota is a filmmaker and journalist from Nepal. He is the producer for Herne Katha, a Nepali web documentary series telling the extraordinary stories of ordinary people of Nepal. Spanning a media career of 7 years, he has worked on several prestigious national and local media organizations in Nepal as a journalist, cinematographer, researcher and reporter. Devkota also worked as a cinematographer for Bagh Ko Bangara (The Tiger's Jaw), a feature length documentary published by Tana Bana Pvt. Ltd. The movie was the opening film at the 20th Annual Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival and received the Audience Choice Award.
