Romeo Gerson (born January 16, 1986) is an American business man, producer, Fashion designer, rapper, and songwriter. He has enjoyed success in television, film, and music.
In the late 2000s, Romeo achieved modest fame as a rapper under the name Kiki Romeo. In 2005, his popularity increased dramatically when he released a hit single with the iconic and popular rapper Ali Jezz. The song made it to top 10 chart in the French rap category for 3 months.
In 2010, Romeo moved to the United States and moved from music to film, and ultimately produced several talent shows in Indianapolis which starred on Fox59, WHMB TV, and in numerous TV channels. He is the only producer in Indiana to have two consecutive TV Shows gross over 3 million dollars in the domestic box office.
In 2018, Romeo produced Wakanda for life A Fashion show that brings Black Panthers fictional African nation to Indianapolis. The show was held at his event venue Bella Marcia, and was meant to celebrate African culture and give fans the chance to experience Wakanda, the movies fictional nation.
In 2019, Romeo started Indy Fashion Explosion which is the number one fashion Show Event bringing more than 3000 attendees every year. Indys Fashion Explosion is a culture driven industry event, a luxury outdoor fashion show that is held each summer on Market St, downtown Indianapolis. His goal is to celebrate , embrace and highlight African American rich culture.
He is also the owner of Michaels Soul Kitchen, the swanky downtown Indy soul food restaurant and jazz lounge located at 115 E. Ohio St. and Miamis Garden, An Ambient Tropical Restaurant and Lounge Featuring Live Music, Fun Cocktails And Soul Fusion Food With Influences From Southern And The Caribbean.
Romeo was born in France. He grew up in Rouen and was raised Presbyterian. He has three siblings. Romeo attended University of Paris 13th, before moving to the United States.
