Nighat Imran is a Pakistani writer and screenwriter based in Karachi. She is known for her work on Oye Motti and Dolly Ki Super Family. She also wrote for popular television series including Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain for HUM TV and Dikhawa for Geo TV.
Nighat earned a Master's degree in Mass Media from University of Karachi. In addition to television writing, she has contributed columns to leading Pakistani newspapers such as Jang, Nawa-i-Waqt, and Daily Express, among others. She continues to write for multiple television channels across Pakistan.
She has been married to Imran Syfer since March 25, 2008, and they have three children.
