Cher Lytle was born in Redondo Beach, California, as the youngest of three sisters. At the age of four, her family moved to Riverside, CA, where she discovered her passion for entertainment. She began her journey in the arts at Riverside Children's Theater in the 4th grade, sparking a lifelong love for storytelling and performance.
Cher's pursuit of her passion took her across the country, with moves to Colorado and Seattle, before eventually returning to Los Angeles. She honed her craft at The Second City, followed by graduating from Los Angeles City College (L.A.C.C.) with a major in cinema and television. Her education and experiences led her to Big Frame, where she began to build an impressive portfolio of work in film and digital.
With credits spanning various roles such as Co-Producer on "The Perfect Pitch," Production Coordinator on "Grip and Electric," and Director on "Five Minute FX," Cher has demonstrated her versatility and dedication in the industry. She has also contributed to projects like "Winnie the Pooh" (2011) as a Production Assistant, and "Look Again" (2011) as a Casting Director and Producer. Her work has not only been recognized in the production realm but also in the writing sphere, with accolades including winning the Industry Insider Screenplay Competition for her feature "Past Crimes" and being a finalist in the NYC Midnight Screenwriting Challenge.
After her time at Awestruck, where she increasingly focused on food-related content, Cher decided to deepen her culinary expertise by attending culinary school (I.C.E.) for baking and pastry. She graduated at the top of her class and soon found herself working at the renowned Spago in Beverly Hills, where she honed her skills until the COVID pandemic hit.
Blending her love for production and culinary arts, Cher then worked on Food Network's CandyLand and served as an associate producer for Omnivore on Apple TV. She continues to bring her unique blend of creativity, passion, and experience to every project she undertakes, whether in production, writing, or directing.
Cher lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their two cats.
