Gabe Van Horn, also known as Gabriel Horn, has over twenty years of experience in the entertainment industry, working as an actor, writer, producer, and director across film, television, and commercial media.
As the former Development Director at Trifecta Entertainment, Gabe developed and produced numerous scripted and unscripted television program proposals for network and studio presentations. He analyzed pop culture and media trends, wrote, produced, directed, filmed, and edited original sizzle reels and pilots, and coordinated pitch meetings with buyers, broadcasters, agencies, and executives. His creativity and dedication quickly earned him a strong reputation among agents, networks, production companies, and distributors for delivering high-quality content on limited budgets.
Gabe produced and starred in Tom Huckabee's award-winning feature film Carried Away. More recently, he created, wrote, produced, and co-directed twenty half-hour episodes of the original paranormal comedy television series Ghostbreakers, which currently airs nationwide on Tubi and The Family Channel.
In 2020, Gabe co-founded the BIG BEAR FILM SUMMIT, an annual festival and industry conference that promotes artistic production in and around Big Bear Lake, California, celebrating cinema and music through film screenings, concerts, workshops, and educational programs.
His recent projects include Greatest Prison Escapes, a true crime docuseries co-created and co-executive produced with Starlings Entertainment and FilmRise. He also serves as host and producer for Catchlight Studios' major true crime podcast and docuseries The Gallerist, a 2022 co-production with Amazon and Wondery.
As a painter and fine artist, Gabe's work has been showcased in galleries and art shows across California and Texas, with select pieces acquired for private collections.
In 2025, Gabe launched SUPER NATURAL, a new venture encompassing media production, live events, and artistic projects.
His feature documentary, Picasso's Christ, investigates the authentication of an uncatalogued 1906 drawing of Christ by Picasso, immersing him deeply into the complexities of the art world, where he remains actively involved.
