After graduating from the School of Arts in 2001, she moved to Madrid, where she continued her studies at the CEV Madrid School of Communication. In 2002, she was awarded a scholarship by the Prisa Group and combined her studies with work as an ENG reporter for Localia TV, thus establishing an early and direct connection with audiovisual storytelling.
In 2004, she moved to Barcelona to delve deeper into the language of the image, studying photography at CEV Barcelona and at the Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya (IEFC). She furthered her training by attending the International Film and Television School (EICTV) in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, an experience that was fundamental in consolidating her authorial vision and cinematic sensibility.
In 2007, she settled in Mexico City, working as an assistant director for renowned Mexican directors and becoming part of the country’s audiovisual industry. From 2016 onwards, she began her career as a director of drama series, working on projects such as: Rosario Tijeras, La Querida del Centauro, La Bandida, La Reina Soy Yo, Herederos por Accidente, Donde Hubo Fuego (Netflix), Papás por Encargo (Disney+), El Dentista (Movistar+), Colisión (Max), La Jefa, and Dinastía Casillas (NBC). She is currently wrapping up filming on El Señor de los Cielos X (NBC).
He combines directing television dramas with developing his screenwriting projects and is promoting El Cuernito, his first documentary, a work that marks the start of a more personal phase in his creative career.
