Scott Stuber serves as the Head of Global Films, overseeing the development, production, and acquisition of Netflix's film portfolio. Recent successful projects under his leadership include Martin Scorsese's The Irishman, the Academy Award-winning Marriage Story, The Old Guard, Murder Mystery, Extraction, Bird Box, and ROMA, directed by Alfonso Cuarón, which won three Academy Awards. Before joining Netflix, he founded and led Bluegrass Films, producing hits like Ted, Central Intelligence, and Safe House. Previously, as vice chairman of worldwide production at Universal Studios, he managed films such as A Beautiful Mind, 8 Mile, Meet the Parents and its sequels, as well as the Bourne and Fast and the Furious franchises. Scott is actively involved with several organizations, including the Charlotte + Gwenyth Gray Foundation, Baby2Baby, and Chrysalis.
