Marie's artistic practice is rooted in emotionally intimate, character-driven storytelling across film, literature, and performance. She is a writer, director, producer, and actor based in the Okanagan, where she has independently developed projects including three novels, three feature screenplays, a TV pilot, four short films, a mini-series, and a music video.
She holds a BA in English Literature and an MA in Publishing, which have shaped her approach to narrative, character, and visual storytelling.
As an emerging filmmaker, she is focused on creating grounded, visually intentional work that connects personal experiences with universal emotional themes while continuing to grow within the Okanagan film community.
