Alan La Lenia is a multidisciplinary director and cinematographer operating at the intersection of narrative cinema and digital art. Based in Berlin, Alan has built a signature style characterized by immersive atmospheres, precise lighting, and a mastery of visual effects.
Following the success of his award-winning short Silver Dust, his 2025 film Sorry I Was Busy has been selected for the 2026 Berlin Short Film Festival. With around two decades of experience spanning motion design for major agencies to independent directing, Alan’s work is recognized for its character-driven depth and meticulously crafted soundscapes.
