Giovana Echeverria was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Her career started as a teenager at TV Globo, where she portrayed Nanda, a troubled villain, in the long-running teen soap "Malhação" (Young Hearts). At Rede Record, she took on the role of Grace, a dancer, in the telenovela "Vidas em Jogo" (Lives at Stake). She made her film debut as the lead in "#garotas - O Filme" (#thosegirls), playing the wild character Beth, directed by Alex Medeiros. Giovana starred as Blanca Lucia in her second feature, "A Superfície da Sombra" (Surface of the Shadow), an Uruguayan co-production directed by Paulo Nascimento. Her third film, "Teu Mundo Não Cabe nos Meus Olhos" (Your World Does Not Fit My Eyes), where she played Alicia, was well received at the 10th Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival in 2017. She portrayed Carol in MTV Brasil's series "Perrengue" and Vanessa in TV Globo's acclaimed limited series "Justiça" (Above Justice), which received a nomination for an International Emmy Award for best drama. In Globoplay's hit "Verdades Secretas 2" (Hidden Truths 2), the first Brazilian streaming telenovela, she played Lisa, a bisexual fashion industry professional. Returning to Rede Record, she appeared as Kiria in the biblical telenovela "Gênesis." On stage, she starred in the sold-out play "Um Fascista no Divã" (A Fascist on the Couch) in 2023. Additionally, she has participated in six other plays, eight short films, and four music videos. Giovana is also an experienced producer and script analyst.
