Debiprasad Mukherjee is an Indian documentary photographer, author, and visual storyteller based in Kolkata. His work focuses on social change, human experiences, cultural diversity, and global issues, using photography as a medium to document and preserve important stories from around the world.
He has traveled to more than 50 countries for documentary photography and photojournalism projects, with his work featured in international publications including National Geographic, Vogue Italia, and The Irish Times. Debiprasad is the author of The Stars Are His Bones and Sound of Silence.
A recipient of numerous international photography awards, he has exhibited his work across multiple countries and served as a jury member for several global photography competitions. He was also the founding convener of the Kolkata International Photography Festival, contributing significantly to the promotion of photography and visual arts.
