Based in Los Angeles, Froilan Grijalva is a television and media producer and a recent CSUN graduate. Having earned a degree in Cinema & Television Arts with an emphasis in Television Production, along with a minor in Journalism, he combines his dual-industry knowledge and hands-on experience to bring his creative visions to life.
Raised in East Hollywood, Froilan found it difficult to relate to the characters he watched on screen, prompting him to create work that highlights the stories of individuals who have been misunderstood, faced life-changing challenges, or fear rejection due to societal norms.
Early in his career, he created the talk show Inhaling Gen Z, which features groups of individuals discussing controversial topics that have affected their emotional and mental well-being.
During his final semester at CSUN, he produced one of four greenlit senior thesis projects. The project, Immortal, a story about a decades-old vampire seeking companionship, won Best Music Score at the 2026 CSUN Television Showcase & Awards Ceremony.
As Froilan’s story continues to unfold both on and off the screen, there is no doubt that his contributions will leave a lasting impact on the entertainment industry.
