Emel is a Turkish-American actress based between Los Angeles and New York City. Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey she is fluent in both English and Turkish and loves bringing her international background to the characters she portrays. She trained at the renowned Tring Park School For The Performing Arts in the United Kingdom before continuing her studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York. She also continues to train regularly with industry professionals through One on One NYC, including casting directors like Paul Schnee and Alan Scott Neal. When she's not acting, Emel can usually be found in the gym, on a run or at a [solidcore] class. A dedicated fitness enthusiast and bodybuilder, she loves challenging herself both mentally and physically. She is passionate about storytelling, travel and roles that combine strength, heart and a little bit of adventure.
