Hailing from Compton, California, Christopher Babers has spent his life in the Los Angeles area with his family. He began his career at age 6 with an Oscar Mayer commercial. Over the years, Christopher secured contract roles on series such as General Hospital, Due South, Riders In The Sky, Rhythm and Blues, and Lifetime's Any Day Now. His guest star appearances include Veronica Mars, E.R., Touched By An Angel, Boston Public, Once and Again, and Half and Half. In 2004, Christopher was chosen to participate in the Sundance Film Workshop in Sundance, Utah, where he worked alongside industry professionals like Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Dito Montiel, Ed Harris, and Robert Redford. It was during Sundance that he developed an interest in behind-the-scenes work, leading him to explore writing and directing. Recently, he completed two writing programs through The Fox Diversity Initiative and The Writer's Boot Camp. Combining these skills, Christopher earned his first official WGA writing credit for an episode of UPN's One on One. He also wrote and directed his debut short film, Keys, which has attracted attention from notable film festivals including The New York International Film and Video Festival, The Bahamas International Film Festival, and The Turks and Caicos International Film Festival. Currently, Christopher is finishing his final semester of film school and plans to pursue an M.F.A. in Cinematography at the American Film Institute. Committed to becoming an innovative and authentic storyteller, Christopher is determined to achieve his ambitions.
