Nansi Nsue is a Spanish actress of African heritage who relocated to Alicante, Spain, from her native Equatorial Guinea during childhood.
Initially focused on sports such as judo, rhythmic gymnastics, and basketball, Nansi discovered her passion for performing before an audience. However, acting did not become a significant part of her life until she moved to Belfast, Northern Ireland, to study marketing and improve her English. While there, she worked as an extra in the Hollywood comedy Your Highness, starring Natalie Portman and James Franco. This experience ignited her passion for acting and led her to leave college and move to London to pursue her dream.
In London, Nansi trained at The Method Acting Studio, where she also studied voice and movement. She began gaining experience through short films and independent low-budget features.
Nansi starred in a sold-out, five-star Afro-Caribbean adaptation of Federico García Lorca’s play Yerma, which premiered at the Spanish Cervantes Theatre in London. She then built a television career with a guest lead role on ABC’s Whiskey Cavalier, a recurring role in the BBC series The Mallorca Files, and appearances in the Spanish Amazon Prime series Madres: Amor y Vida, as well as The Paradise, a Spanish-Finnish collaboration. Most recently, Nansi completed filming on a Disney+ series and two feature films: Hate Songs, which tells the harrowing story of RTML, the radio station that fueled the 1994 Rwandan genocide, and El Salto (Jumping the Fence), directed by Benito Zambrano and one of five Spanish films featured in Spanish Screenings Goes to Cannes.
