Jeremy John Wells, born and raised in Ventura County, Southern California, is an actor and filmmaker. He began his professional acting career as a teenager in the mid-1990s. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the arts—including actors, singers, and visual artists—his heritage features his great-uncle, Academy Award-nominated actor Richard Dix.
As President of Vertéro Films, an independent film and television production company, Jeremy is actively producing multiple projects focused on narrative features and documentaries aimed at meaningful cultural influence. Beyond acting, writing, directing, and producing, he is a serial entrepreneur with experience founding and selling businesses, and has worked in commercial real estate and development, fine art and interior design, software development, and business leadership.
A photographer and fine artist, Jeremy primarily works with oil and acrylic. Married since 2002 to California landscape painter Jamie Wells, they raise three children together. He is also a dedicated athlete and outdoorsman, actively engaged in surfing and shaping, mountain biking, snowboarding, backpacking, and spearfishing.
