Ricarte's career spans both sides of the entertainment industry's curtain. Rivera just wrapped the final episode of Disney's 'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place' directed by Selena Gomez, delivering the last burp of the series as Burping Spellz Angel. He can also be seen in FX's 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,' a new adult-swim live-action series and just completed six scenes opposite Oscar-nominated actor Josh Brolin.
Rivera's story, however, begins long before Hollywood. At an early age, he booked his first professional auditions, JIF Peanut Butter, Walgreens, and American Airlines, launching a career in Puerto Rico that would include television commercials, soap operas, and musical theater.
He went on to co-star in the sitcom Cuqui alongside Ivonne Coll, beloved by American audiences as Alba in Jane the Virgin. To fund his training, Rivera did what few actors would dare: he founded and ran a candy store, channeling every dollar back into the craft.
Hungry for the next chapter, he relocated to New York City, where he landed an 'I Love New York' campaign alongside Marc Anthony, the credit that earned him his Screen Actors Guild card.
Rivera brings a singular dual perspective to his work. As both a working actor and an active member of IATSE Local 33 (the concert and television stagehand union) he has built stages for Beyoncé, Shakira, Kanye West, and Lil' Wayne while simultaneously building a screen career.
He also serves on the SAG-AFTRA Communications Committee.
Rivera is a performer shaped by every room he has ever worked, from a candy store in Puerto Rico to the stages of the Hollywood Palladium, Sofi Stadium, Intuit Dome and Kia Forum.
