Rebecca was born 'Off Broadway' in New York City and has been performing ever since. At 10 years old, she starred as Annie in her first musical in Dublin. She continued to take on a variety of stage roles, including Anne in 'The Diary of Anne Frank,' Sandy in 'Grease,' Mayzie in 'Seussical,' and Belle in Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast.'
Rebecca spent most of her childhood in New Zealand, often running barefoot through supermarkets and enjoying fish & chips at the beach. After finishing high school in Auckland, she pursued full-time Acting studies and earned a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts degree. She landed several guest roles on network shows such as Power Rangers and Shortland Street before relocating to Los Angeles.
Within a month of arriving in the US, Rebecca secured her first audition and was soon cast in her first lead role in an American feature film, 'Quarries.' She portrays Brit, a lively, inclusive, and chatty Kiwi girl, in this thrilling, female-driven action movie that is not to be missed!
Since then, Rebecca has worked on a variety of exciting projects, including her own short films 'Bad Kiwis' and 'Bad Kiwis 2: Kiwi Driver,' which she co-wrote, produced, directed, and starred in alongside a fellow New Zealand filmmaker. These films have garnered acclaim at film festivals across the USA, with rumors circulating about a third installment in development.
As a storyteller above all, Rebecca aims to deeply move audiences through her work. She chooses acting and filmmaking as her professions because she believes these arts can inspire positive change worldwide—or at the very least, bring a smile to your face!
