Andrew Sandler is an acclaimed filmmaker based in Los Angeles, whose video portfolio has garnered over a billion views.
Initially captivated by cinema as a viewer, Andrew soon discovered his true passion behind the camera. He attributes this shift to his experience working with Steven Spielberg on "Minority Report." Following this, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production from the renowned USC School of Cinematic Arts.
His expertise in directing and producing has earned him collaborations with top-tier artists including blink-182, Justin Bieber, Aerosmith, Usher, Ariana Grande, Mary J. Blige, and many more. His work with Blink-182 received two MTV Video Music Award nominations, and his projects with Panic! At The Disco were recognized at the Billboard Music Awards. Additionally, his collaboration with British artist Yungblud was nominated for "Best Rock Video" at the Music Video Production Association (MVPA) Awards.
In 2017, Andrew released two feature-length documentaries: Mary J. Blige's "Strength of a Woman" album documentary, which premiered on VH1, and Chris Brown's "Welcome To My Life," which debuted theatrically worldwide and became one of the most successful independent documentaries of that year. This film is currently available on Netflix.
His latest documentary project is a limited series on the renowned music label Cash Money Records, produced in partnership with Spotify.
In 2022, Andrew teamed up with Machine Gun Kelly for the feature-length musical film "Downfalls High," starring Sydney Sweeney from the hit series "Euphoria." The film premiered in January 2021, attracting over 16 million views during its opening weekend. Furthermore, his direction of "Mainstream Sellout: Live From Cleveland" premiered on May 12, 2023, in more than 1,000 theaters worldwide.
