Marius Jampolskis, an actor from Eastern Europe, was born in Kaunas, Lithuania. He completed his acting education at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. His cinematic debut was in the Lithuanian TV series "Gedimino, 11" in 2001. In 2006, he starred as Gena in the adventure comedy "Khottabych," directed by Piotr Tochilin. Following this, he appeared in numerous Lithuanian TV series and feature films. Notable achievements in Marius' career include his role in the 2008 feature film "The Colectress," directed by K. Buozyte, which earned him the Silver Crane Award for Best Actor at the Lithuanian Film Awards. He also played the lead in the Lithuanian sci-fi film "Aurora/Vanishing Waves," directed by Kristina Buozyte, which won him another Silver Crane Award for Best Actor in 2013. This film garnered 14 awards at various festivals, including the Brussels International Festival of Fantasy Film, Austin Fantastic Fest, Jameson CineFest - Miskolc International Film Festival, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, and Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival. In 2014, Marius ventured into the horror genre with the film "The Cellar," directed by Ricardas Matacius. More recently, he has focused on comedy, starring in the popular Lithuanian TV series "Apie mus ir Kazlauskus," as well as the comedies "Trys Milijonai Euru" (2017) and "Pats Sau Milijonierius" (2019), both directed by Tadas Vidmantas. His latest role was in the 2019 TV film "Pasmerkti. Pajurio Dziazas," directed by Ramunas Rudokas.
Marius is fluent in Russian and Lithuanian and is also proficient in English.
